Hello! My name is Katey Simons, I'm a life-long equestrian who is dedicated to helping bring the magic of your soul companions into your home.  Whether your passion is horses, dogs, or something more exotic, I know how important your animals are to your wellbeing.  They are an intrinsic part of our lives and deserve to be celebrated and honored for the gifts they give us daily. 

I started my photography journey in the mountains of Colorado when I worked as a Conservation Biologist for the Division of Wildlife.  As part of my job, I hiked to remote locations nearly every day.  On my excursions I was inspired by the breathtaking scenery and charismatic creatures I encountered on the trail and wanted to find a way to share these amazing experiences.  Armed with a tiny point-and-shoot camera, I began to capture the essence of the nature I so adored.  Soon, I had found my calling- wildlife photography.

Fast forward a few years, my husband and I moved back to PA and found the cutest farmette in Westmoreland County, where we now call home.  Having my horse on my property was always my dream…. now I have 3!  Although admittedly they are more work than I ever imagined, my horses have helped me through some of the darkest times of my life, been a part of some of my fondest memories, and serve as a daily reminder to just keep going. 

Since I'm no longer surrounded by wilderness every day, I have turned my camera to my life-long obsession- horses.  Even with over 30 years of horse experience, a little flame still lights up my soul every time I meet one, pet a nose, or scratch a wither. I've seen how the magic of horses can completely change someone's life.  I've experienced their healing powers and have witnessed the miracles they can bring.   Now I am proud to help capture those moments you have with your own horse, and design artwork to showcase your own story.
